We are young ambitious newlyweds in our mid 20's ready to see what's out there. We are both from a little town Paso Robles in the Central Coast area of California. 

We decided to move to Portland, Oregon in 2011 and have yet to look back. We love the community of this amazing city! Plus the beer and food are amazing as well. Caleb attended Oregon Culinary Insitute and is currently working at an awesome seafood restaurant. Bre is studying for her Oregon Cosmetology license while working in retail. 

We love exploring new things and meeting new people. When possible, quick trips around the Pacific Northwest are made. We are lucky to live in Portland, but there is still so much more to explore even here for us.

Bre is a crafter who enjoys knitting, sewing, embroidery and any other stereotyped "old lady" hobby out there. Along with the crafts, there's nerding out on techy things, listening to music, and relaxing!

Caleb enjoys reading up on food and techniques in his free time, along with the episode of 30 rock here and there. During free time, there is lots of fishing and camping to be done. Also, Caleb plays a few tunes on his guitar, occasionally doing local shows.

Our intention is to get some traveling down while we are young and childless. We hope to explore the western region of Europe in the oh so classic way: Backpacking! Bre, being the natural planner she is, has been searching high and low for all answers to her questions on how, where, when. This blog will showcase some of these answers, and hopefully, help others. It will also give our family and friends some insight on our plans!

After the initial Western Europe trip, we hope to plan a Mediterranean Specific Visit as well. There has been some chatter between the two of us of how lovely it would be to live in Europe if the chance presented itself.
